PR planning is a crucial part of the PR process. PR planning involves discussing and agreeing what can be achieved for a business or a charity, developing a strong PR plan and having up to date marketing materials available for journalists.
With the PR Plan in place, discussions and decisions can take place on what the media will find newsworthy. Press releases, stories and features and liaison with press contacts is then started and maintained. There are a number of tactics that can be used to achieve the PR goals.
A client may prefer to start with a conventional PR campaign and then combine it with other approaches.
